Many people enjoy lying in a hammock or on a blanket, staring up into the sky, and picking out shapes and figures created by clouds or star constellations. I do that with many things in nature- in this case, with water.
I came across a photo taken a many years ago that caught my attention. It was one of those wild, Hawaiian ocean scenes that I find so fascinating. I tried to find the photographer of this particular photo, but was unsuccessful in locating them. As I stared at this photo, I couldn't help but see a woman dressed in the sea, busting out of the water with grace and power. So naturally, I was inspired and created the piece you see here.
